TANGERINE ANNOUNCED AS PRINCIPAL PARTNER OF THE MELBOURNE RENEGADES 2026/27 SEASON
21 September 2026, Melbourne, Australia,
Australian telecommunications provider, Tangerine, has renewed its partnership with the Melbourne Renegades for a third year, becoming the club’s Principal Partner for the 2026/27 season.
The partnership was announced today, with Tangerine presenting the first 2026/27 Renegades jerseys to a group of Foundation Members who have continued their membership for a 16th straight season, recognising the supporters who have stood by the club since its earliest days.
Also present were Australian and Melbourne Renegades players Sophie Molineux, the club’s captain, alongside Georgia Wareham, Jason Behrendorff and Harry Dixon, as the countdown to the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) season enters its final 50 days.
The Tangerine logo will feature on the front of the Renegades’ Women’s and Men’s Big Bash jerseys throughout the summer, with the partnership representing an elevation of its previous relationship with the club.
Tangerine COO Richard Branson said renewing the partnership for a third season reinforces the brand’s commitment to supporting the club, its community, and connecting fans to important sporting moments.
“We’re incredibly proud to be the Principal Partner of the Melbourne Renegades this season,” Branson said.
“As we enter our third consecutive season alongside the club, we’re excited to continue strengthening our commitment to the members, supporters, players, and families who have shaped the Renegades story from the very beginning.
“Cricket unites Australians over the summer, creating moments of connection that extend far beyond the boundary. Whether that’s watching a game at the MCG, supporting a local club, or streaming every match across the season from home. Our partnership plays a valuable role in enabling us to continue to connect fans to the moments that matter the most this season.”
“This season is all about backing in our players and fans to come together and achieve something special and we’re delighted to have an Australian brand like Tangerine support us on that journey,” Abbott said.
“Tangerine continue to support the Renegades and keep fans connected, and that means a lot. Their commitment sends a really positive message to our players and fans: we’re here, we’re backing you, and we’re ready for the season ahead.”
