Melbourne recently hosted a meaningful afternoon of culture, compassion, and community at a Gala Lunch organized in support of Indus Hospital & Health Network through Indus Health Australia. The event brought together members of the multicultural community, philanthropists, and distinguished guests, all united by a shared commitment to making quality healthcare accessible for those in need.The afternoon was honoured by the presence of renowned Pakistani celebrities Bushra Ansari and Nouman Ijaz, whose participation added warmth and inspiration to the occasion. Both guests commended the organisers and highlighted the importance of supporting humanitarian initiatives like the Indus Hospital & Health Network.

The event successfully raised AUD 312,605 in donations. These funds will play a transformative role in supporting healthcare initiatives in Pakistan, including providing artificial limbs for 115 children, giving them a renewed chance at mobility and a better quality of life.
This achievement builds on the organisation’s strong track record—in 2024, Indus Health Australia raised AUD 333,000 in Melbourne Chapter to support treatment for 23 children battling cancer, demonstrating a continued commitment to life-saving care.
