Quaid-e-Azam & Mughal Era Arts Exhibition Held in Melbourne, Featuring 11 Artists

Melbourne: An arts exhibition titled “Quaid-e-Azam & Mughal Era” was held at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Melbourne. The exhibition was organised by the Cultural Projection Committee (CPC) in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan, Melbourne, and featured the work of 11 artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The exhibition aimed to celebrate Pakistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, particularly the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the artistic traditions associated with the Mughal era. It also provided local artists with a platform to showcase their creativity and artistic talent.

The event was addressed by Consul General of Pakistan in Melbourne, Mr Wajid Hassan Hashmi; Mr Kashif Bouns, Director of the Victorian Multicultural Commission; and Sajid Toori, Convener of the Cultural Projection Committee and CEO of Voice of Australia – VOA.

The 11 participating artists presented artworks created through a variety of styles and techniques. Guests showed strong interest in the exhibition and appreciated the creativity, dedication and artistic expression of the participating artists.

Speakers also highlighted the important role of art in strengthening connections between culture, community and multiculturalism, and in bringing people from different cultural backgrounds closer together.

Organisers emphasised that art is a universal language that transcends borders and has the power to connect people, cultures and communities.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, the participating artists were recognised for their contributions, while guests praised the initiative for promoting art, cultural heritage and community connection in Victoria.
