High Commissioner Engages with Pakistani Community in Melbourne
Melbourne, 9 November 2025 Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia, H.E. Irfan Shaukat, met with members of the Pakistani community at the Consulate General of Pakistan, Melbourne, earlier today.
The interactive session brought together representatives from diverse segments of the community, including professionals, academics, and youth leaders. Participants exchanged views on initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement between the High Commission and the diaspora community.
Discussions focused on addressing issues faced by community members, promoting a positive image of Pakistan in Australia, and exploring avenues to boost bilateral trade and investment opportunities.
High Commissioner Shaukat briefed attendees on various initiatives undertaken by the Government of Pakistan for the welfare of overseas Pakistanis. He reaffirmed the High Commission’s commitment to extending full cooperation for the betterment and empowerment of the Pakistani community residing in Australia.
The event concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing appreciation for the High Commission’s proactive outreach and continued support.
