Pakistan Showcases Strong Presence at Global Sourcing Exhibition 2025 in Melbourne

Melbourne, Australia — Pakistan marked a strong presence at the Global Sourcing Exhibition 2025, one of the region’s largest international trade events, where more than 900 companies from around the world displayed their products and innovations. This year, 16 Pakistani companies participated, representing sectors such as textiles, sports goods, leather products, handicrafts, and other export-oriented industries.

The Pakistan Pavilion attracted significant attention from buyers, industry professionals, and global sourcing specialists.

To encourage and support Pakistani exhibitors, His Excellency Mr. Irfan Shoukat, High Commissioner for Pakistan to Australia, visited the exhibition. He was accompanied by the Consul General of Pakistan in Melbourne, Hon. Wajid Hashmi, and the Consul General of Pakistan in Sydney, Hon. Qamar Zaman.

During their visit, the dignitaries interacted with the Pakistani exhibitors, appreciated the quality of their products, and reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to promoting exports and enhancing bilateral trade with Australia.

The High Commissioner expressed confidence that participation in such global platforms will help Pakistani businesses expand their footprint in the Australian market and forge new commercial partnerships.
