APASO Officially Launches in Melbourne, Committed to Empowering CALD Communities Through Compassion, Connection, and Action
Melbourne, July 5, 2025 — Today marked the official opening ceremony of APASO, a Melbourne-based charity organisation dedicated to uplifting Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities across Victoria and beyond.
Driven by a mission of compassion, connection, and action, APASO aims to be a transformative force in the lives of new migrants, refugees, and multicultural families. Through programs focused on youth development, education, cultural harmony, and social inclusion, APASO is building pathways for opportunity and unity.
“Every initiative we lead is rooted in a deep belief in the power of community,” said Saima Khan Founder of APASO. “We are here to stand with and for the people — ensuring that every voice is heard, every potential is nurtured, and no one is left behind.”
The opening event featured cultural performances, community speakers, and a shared commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive future for all Australians — regardless of background.
With its headquarters now open in Melbourne, APASO is poised to become a cornerstone in the ongoing effort to support and empower CALD communities through innovative, community-led initiatives.
